Spring Hopes Rise Amid Manitoba Winter Reflections
Rita Friesen reflects on a long Manitoba winter with -14 C and no wind shaping thoughts of spring. She notes buds on willows, crows returning, and a countdown to spring posted on social media while praising the town crew and personal efforts like shoveling, quilting, and gardening plans. She cites Mother Teresa as inspiration and envisions gatherings, gardens, and color returning as spring arrives.
