Rapid City Vintage Snowmobile Derby Draws Active Crowd
The 18th Annual Vintage Snowmobile Poker Derby at the Rapid City Community Complex on February 26 featured a 35 mile ride through the valley with 274 poker hands sold. Lloyd Mennie won the top hand, with Ken McFarlin and Taran Shiloff following. Gift certificates from Trans Canada Motorsport and Wheat City Cycle, plus a 50/50 draw, raffles for a 1973 Yamaha GP338 sled won by Brett Orpin, and a kids prize basket were part of the day.
