River elementary grade six students aid Riverdale PCH with iPad gift
Rivers Elementary School sixth graders spent the year volunteering at Riverdale Personal Care Home teaching seniors to use iPads and fundraising for two devices. Lion members funded one iPad at 650 dollars and a car wash sponsored by Clean Under Pressure added to the total. The group described mutual learning, seniors gaining tech skills and students growing as leaders through biweekly visits and activities.
