Rivers Comets opened with a 3-3 tie against Young Guns on June 8 as Buddy Mayert pitched six plus, Jody Anderson Justin Froese and teammates contributed. They lost 3-2 to the Marlins on June 10 and then defeated the Canadian Tire Cardinals 7-5 on June 14 with Kyle Kostesky earning the win.
