Vimy Ridge banquet recalls war memories at Rivers veterans event
The Rivers Legion hosted a Vimy Ridge veterans banquet begun in 1964. Five veterans attended the June 1 event in the upper hall, with 35 guests and auxiliary workers present. Brody Davis of Rivers shared a Vimy trip experience and a slide show, highlighting remembrance and gratitude to hometown supporters.
