MRHA cancels Versa Services contract health board moves to facility based management
The Marquette Regional Health Authority voted to cancel the Versa Services Ltd contract for the Shoal Lake Strathclair Health Centre and shift dietary and housekeeping duties to facility based management. The change will add staff on the floor while following Manitoba Health staffing guidelines. The board held a two day workshop on policy development and reviewed existing policies, planning to share the health needs assessment draft with the public and gather more feedback. The next meeting is June 22 at 3 pm in Minnedosa.
