Riverdale Community Gardens and Ice Facility History
Donations and grants funded Riverdale community projects including a plant opening in September 1989 officiated by local officials. Renovations added a wheelchair ramp in 1989 and bleachers in 1996 with upgrades to wiring and washrooms. A 1999 Olympia ice cleaner cost 36,500, and roof repairs in 1999-2009 protected ice sports through 2009-10.
