Manitoba wildfire smoke relief tips and self care guide
Manitoba faces renewed wildfire smoke with homes lost and communities displaced. Practical tips include hydrating with water and herbal teas, warm beverages with honey, steam inhalation, diffusers and air purifiers, and using eucalyptus or peppermint oil. Nutrient rich foods like berries, leafy greens, peppers, turmeric, garlic, onions, ginger, citrus and Saskatoon berries support immunity. Houseplants such as snake plants help purify air. Stay safe, hydrated, and hopeful as conditions improve.
