Rivers Comets Bas eball Club’s home debut dazzles crowd
Rivers Comets hosted three games at Comets field July 6 8 and 10 drawing 350 to 450 fans in a historic return to senior baseball. Ryan Shaw pitched seven innings of one hit ball in a 1 0 loss to Brandon Marlins. Jody Anderson and Mike McFadden RBI singles powered a 6 2 win over Joe Beeverz Young Guns. The week left Rivers 6 3 2 and set for provincials in Stonewall July 15 17 with all games at 7 p m and free admission.
