MYJC Report Details Rainy Hire-A-Student Week Activities
Pam Roberts reports MYJC has a soggy kickoff with Promo Day halted by rain while the Odd Job Squad served hot dogs at BBQ Blitz. Despite weather, turnout was good and support from Credit Union Van Dekerckhoves helped with coffee and gear. Wednesday’s Wet n Wild Window Wash drew four groups to wash windows around town. Thursday featured a student raffle and a parade float with Redfern Farm Services trailer. Funds partly go to Kenton Lions Club with rest to nine student workers.
