Reader observes two common wetland plants around slough edges. Marsh ragwort, about two feet tall with yellow flowers, is not a major problem yet and may spread by Canada geese. Nodding beggar's ticks, a low growing water edge plant, irritates when brushed against but is not a severe threat.
