Warnings, Repairs, and Waste Site Expansion Move Forward
On June 21 Ward 4 road repairs were discussed and Waring signs were placed on the Blanshard road. The fire truck underwent tank flow testing in Wawanesa with a new relief valve. other systems were fine. Council approved seeking Manitoba Conservation consent to extend the waste site by 250 feet squared southwest, an EA component, despite two councillors opposing. An agreement with Vic Blandford to remove metals on a trial basis to Dec 31 was signed. Property standards violators were warned that failure to complete site work by June 1 would trigger RM action.
