Longtime Roy and Ruth Tapp Celebrate 68 Years of Marriage
Roy 94 and Ruth 87 marked 68 years of marriage in Salmon Arm British Columbia after eloping in 1941 to wed when the Second World War began. They met in Manitoba through Ruths sister Mona, dated a year, then wed with a neighbor minister as witness. They raised three children on a Rapid City farm, traveled widely, and credit communication and shared interests for their lasting bond.
