End of an Era as Rivers Curling Rink Closes
Local curlers celebrate a possible record bonspiel held January 13 to 15, the last in the present rink near Main Street facing Highway 25. Moving to a new recreation complex, they note longer CN rail blocks and a deteriorating roof but crowd over 50 vehicles attended.
