4 H Beef Club Plans Speech and Bonspiel
Rapid City 4 H Beef Club met in the Rapid City Library basement to set dates for club speeches on February 8 at Rapid City Elementary. They will host a bonspiel on February 18 at Oak River with rinks from their club and others. Members attended Ag Days in Brandon January 14 to help Toremont Cat polish machinery for the big show week. Next meeting is February 12 in the library basement.

Rolling River School Division approves bus tenders and bylaw
The board joins the 2008 2009 provincial central tender process for school buses and passes debenture bylaw first reading. CUPE agreement changes and pay adjustments effective January 1 are approved including bus trip rate 11.94 and wheelchair premium 6 per day.
