First ACC Women's Hockey Team Brings Pioneering Spirit
The Assiniboine Community College in Brandon fields its inaugural 18 member women’s hockey squad featuring five players from Rivers area. Led by Dayna Anderson and Lizann Garbutt, the team aims to balance school work and hockey while competing against Manitoba colleges in the Central Plains Athletic Conference. Coach Terry Arksey praises their commitment and skill as they push to build a lasting program.
