Step Two program offers free parent toddler sessions
The Assiniboine North Parent Coalition runs Step Two for parents with children birth to five. A two hour drop in session takes place at Rivers United Church basement on the second and fourth Thursdays, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Each session includes circle time, book sharing, crafts, snacks, and parent sharing, with activities and resources to support development and school readiness. The next session is Thursday March 13 at 10 a.m. for families to attend. For more information, contact 328-7856.

Kenton Skating Club staged its ice show at Kenton Rink on Sunday February 24 with a Kicking It Old School 80s style. Starskate groups performed to Footloose Bad Reputation and Girls Just Want to Have Fun while Canskate skaters did YMCA 99 Red Balloons and Walking on Sunshine.
