UCW and Legion Auxiliary Hold February Meetings
Oak River United Church Women met Feb 7 with ten members. Doreen Espey read Love. They discussed fundraising, sending donations for UCW anniversary and 2002 commitments, and planning meals and food drives. World Day of Prayer is March 1. next UCW meet is April 4. Legion Ladies Auxiliary held its second meeting with 25 members and planned Zone 25 travel, bingo help, and a beef supper fundraiser for Riverdale Hospital. Proceeds go to various local causes.
