Farmers' Advocate Cow calf market looks good says expert
Manitoba cow calf operators face three to four more good years according to Michael Buchen, a Manitoba Agriculture and Food feedlot specialist. He spoke at the Beef Producers Seminar on February 13 in Eden Community Hall to about 45 producers and media. Beef consumption is up for a third straight year with a 5.7 percent rise last year and 475 new beef products reaching the North American market.
