Rivers Agricultural Society Plans Centennial Year
The Rivers Agricultural Society held its Jan 17 meeting with 17 members present. Executive roles are limited with 2012 vacancies, inviting volunteers for vice president and other posts while John Dyck may retire as tent co co-ordinator. Funds from a $1,500 grant will upgrade washrooms. Centennial ideas for 2013 include a July parade and fair night movie.
