Henrys Meats Builds Pork Pie Tradition in Brandon
The Henry family from Northern Ireland moved to Canada in 1992 and started dairy farming near Brandon. Norman Henry, a trained butcher, began making his own meats ten years later after growing dissatisfied with local offerings. He expanded to a butcher shop on the farm and now tests cornish pastry recipes for an English food exhibition in Brandon in 2007 led by Henry, assisted by wife Jacqueline and daughter Victoria.
