Dracaena Varieties Attract Interest In Gardening Notes
In a closing Rivers in Bloom column Dorothy Beedie discusses dracaena varieties. She notes dracaenas typically have variegated foliage and rarely flower, with forms ranging from erect shrubs to tall trees and palm-like trees. The piece names D. deremensis and its variegated forms D. d. bausei and D. d. Warneckii, plus D. surculosa gold dust. It advises bright light, humidity, and plentiful watering during growth.
