River Valley Christmas Home Tour Raises Four Thousand For Hospital
Rivers area volunteers staged the fifth annual Christmas Home Tour on November 25 and 26 at Rivers Ukrainian Hall. A brunch featured dairy products from Manitoba and treats baked by volunteers, with musical entertainment from Oak River Colony ladies chorus. A faux fur jacket raffle funded Riverdale Hospital Fund with prizes awarded to numerous local residents and organizations. Proceeds totaled 4471.97 after expenses, funded by ticket sales, draws, and the wreath contest.
