Rivers Police Service July 2015 crime and bylaw report
July saw 61 police calls with daily activity around two cases. Violent crime reached five in seven months, including three assaults this year, plus one sexual offence and one extortion. Property crime had six thefts over 5000 and one break in. Three frauds and seven other Criminal Code cases brought 2015 totals to 61. Traffic enforcement remained low with seven provincial offenses. Three accidents occurred, and 67 traffic cases were logged this year. ByLaw activity counted 14 complaints, 27 bylaw files from Burning, and 10 assists to RCMP. July included every day plus one as a miscellaneous crime, totaling 32 miscellaneous files and 175 for the first six months, with 407 total 2015 cases.
