Manitoba oilseed plant to boost local markets expansion
Oilseed Protein of Ste Agathe plans to crush canola first with capacity for flax soybeans and sunflowers. President Larry McNamara says the North American market will grow with output rising by 1000 tonnes daily. MRAC grants 75000 funds strategy and aims to attract permanent financing and ownership. The project creates jobs and economic activity while expanding Manitoba producers markets and seed supply.
