Rivers Legion Branch 75 meets with officer changes and plans

Twelve members attended Rivers Legion Branch 75 meeting chaired by Garry Nielsen who installed Christ Wright as hall building chair. District 2 convention report, tabs for wheelchairs program, moved bingo to Friday for Dorothy Irvine's 100th birthday, notes of thanks, and annual scholarships announced. Next meeting set for May 12 at 7:30 p.m.

Step Two meeting date changes for Assiniboine North parents

Step Two, an Assiniboine North Parent Coalition initiative helping families with children from birth to age five, postponed the April 24 gathering to May 1 at Rivers United Church basement.
