The South Holland Choral Club held its second business meeting with Prof DeYoung as instructor and Jennie Dalenberg as pianist. membership is 38. Mrs J Meeboer, post appendectomy, is recovering well. Henriette Van Der Bilt of Roseland visited here for a few days. Nick Osting resigned from John Shillings and will inspect Pope sugar beet affairs. he bought a new motorcycle. Building and Loan Visit Highlights Local Prospects
A delegation including Mr W J Haney Mr Horace Holmes and a Pointer representative toured Momence Ill to study the local building and loan association. Secretary J W Tower described the system of savings disbursements and management. The visit found the association a solid town asset earning about 6 percent for stockholders amid community support.
