Army Air Force Gunners Selected for Training in Texas

Gunners on a Texas range fire 1200 rounds per minute using 30 caliber machines. Enlisted Reservists from the Chicago area, called to active duty after age eighteen, backs this training to qualify as gunners, bombardiers, navigators or pilots and wear Silver Wings. Some 17 year old reservists may join the Army Specialized Training Reserve for college courses at government expense.
