Burr Oak considers name change to Calumet Park
Citizens petition Mayor Synakiewicz and trustees to rename Burr Oak Calumet Park citing roadhouse disorder. A public hearing date of Sept 25 was set. Police Chief Andrew Bentkowski, fired Aug 17 for off duty conduct, has been reinstated as trustees overruled the mayor and kept the discharge reversal.
