Brickmakers Labor Day Parade Draws Big Dolton Riverdale Turnout
The 3rd annual Brickmakers Local 5 Labor Day parade marched 1:00 p.m. from A O A W Hall through Dolton and Riverdale with 500 men. Floats included Dolton Concert Bank Modern Woodmen and a First National Bank float. Notable sights included Uncle Sam with a long beard and other festive tableaux, while civic groups and local merchants contributed decorated wagons and candy for spectators.
