Lansing Village to Build Extensive Cast Iron Water System
Vintage notice from Lansing Illinois details an extensive plan to install cast iron water pipes across numerous streets including Chicago Avenue Hill Street Church Street and Adams Street. The document lists pipe sizes four six eight ten and twelve inches with hydrants valves and boxes, cost estimates totaling 111249.96 and an engineer's report approving the project dated August 31 1920.
