Boy Scout Outing at Hoxie Farm Ends With Mischief
The Dalton and Riverdale Troops camped August 21 at Hoxie’s farm Thornton Ti with 21 boys under leaders Behrens Diekman and Cissna. Mischief led to some boys being sent home while others explored, canoed on the Calumet and Volbrecht Creeks, and built a table. The trip closed with a watermelon mystery and a night ride to Mt Forest cemetery to view ghosts.
