Daniel G. Ramsey a Democratic candidate for the Superior Court judgeship was born in Martinsville Illinois fifty six years ago and has a long legal and public service record. He worked in railroad telegraphy for seven years led the Order of Railroad Telegraphers for four years and served as Assistant Cashier at East St. Louis Bank for two years. Ramsey was a member of the 1891 Legislature and helped Palmer elect a Democratic U S Senator. He graduated from McKendree College Law Department and was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1888. He was Assistant State’s Attorney of Cook County from 1894 to 1897 and resides in Ravenswood with his wife and two children. He holds several fraternal and professional memberships.
