Rev G Press, longtime pastor of Immanuel Evangelical Church Dalton, has accepted a Peoria Illinois mission assignment. He led church growth and renewed interest during three years of service and will relocate with his family after shipping furniture. Rev J Hoffmeister from Rolgatha Church Austin LL will succeed him.

Brakeman Solves the Dentist Problem
Boston reports George Sullivan a railroad brakeman living at 1 South Eston devised a simple and inexpensive tooth extraction method. He connected a copper wire to the aching tooth and to a locomotive then pulled releasing involuntary uproar and the tooth came out. After failed attempts with a belt and a switch engine the crew attached the wire to a telegraph pole and Sullivan was towed as the tooth trailed behind.
