John Propper Hurt In Harvey Freight Yard Accident
John Propper youngest son of Col. F. C. Propper was severely injured at the Illinois Central freight house in Harvey last Monday. He fell between two cars after a backward step, struck his head on iron bumpers, and lay unconscious for hours. He recovered enough to be brought home by ambulance, with a trained nurse attending and pain in the kidneys area. His father learned of the incident from boys at the depot.
