A state led traffic survey on Sibley boulevard in Dalton concluded that reducing the 40 mph limit would not cut accidents or danger. The analysis covered three Sibley locations and 600 vehicles, noting signal work and a school zone near Berger School, with traffic lights at Michigan City Road and other intersections. Army Pvt. 3 Dzikowski, 20, son of Mary Kierzek of South Holland, will complete eight weeks of advanced infantry training at Fort Polk Louisiana, after enlisting in July 1963 following basic training at Fort Knox.
