Last Wednesday evening Rivardale and Norton businessmen held a smoker at A O U W Hall Delton Oysters refreshments lunch and cigars were served. President Behrens introduced Otto Reich who urged a new public highway to Kensington and Pullman detailing a route along the Illinois Central Wildwood yards linking Cottage Grove Avenue to South Holland and Hammond roads to improve transport and growth.
