Chief Eckstein Handles Lansing Store Theft Case
Chief Eckstein of Lansing hid in a rear chicken house after a thief stole 47.50 from the Bock and Schulz cash register. A car picked up a young man near the stove, who returned five minutes later with 15. The burglar, who entered after a purchase and used a flashlight, faced Eckstein’s pistol and is expected to confess.
