Memorial Day Parade and Services Planned
The American Legion and allied groups mark Memorial Day on Tuesday May 30 with a 1 45 p m parade forming at Riverdale Village Hall led by a marshal and featuring colors firing squad band and veterans groups. A cemetery program includes songs prayers services addresses and a salute to the dead with participation by Boy Scouts Camp Fire Girls and students. Volunteer assistance with vehicles is requested and coordinators are named.

Travel plans collapse as boats fully booked into October

Riverdale Board Sets Ordnance Review and Street Plans
The Riverdale board met Tuesday with full attendance. Officials reviewed and revised outdated ordinances, ordered a new work ordinance, and planned repairs including drainage, street oiling, and hole filling. Bids and licenses were approved, including a village motorcycle bid and water main tapping at 28 dollars per tap.
