The Post Office Department will set up mail stations at Shrine Temples during the convention on June 5 to 7. A Shrine Post Office will operate on Pennsylvania Avenue between 11th and 12th Streets from 8 a.m. to midnight to handle mail for visiting Shriners and attendees.
A journal exchange reports a young widowed woman in distress who sent sixty wedding invitations and has received only nine gifts. It urges a prompt follow-up letter to solicit missing presents and support.
The Village of Riverdale Cook County invites sealed bids to furnish spread and place 15000 gallons of road oil 40 per cent asphalt or heavier as directed by the Street and Alley Committee.
