Village Ward Adjourns Meeting and Picnic Plans
The adjourned village ward meeting was held Tuesday evening. Picnics at Gottchalks park were approved with bands and participants named. Oil street bids were read and sent to oiling committees. Contractor Russel will start sidewalks by Thursday. Francis Wolf expects to return home from Blue Island hospital this week. Henry Fock family learned their Tinley Park niece, eight, was badly hurt in an auto accident with 24 stitches and two others injured. Inexperience was blamed for the crash. car owner sustained a broken leg. Mrs. O H Clarke returns from California health improved.
