All American Concert Aims to Boost War Effort and Morale
Under Walter Armbruster the high school music program stages the All American Concert, third in the Music for Victory series, to aid war bonds morale and savings. The goal is to fund a Reconnaissance Car costing $1,000, with banks crediting bonds toward the event. Admission is 50 cents with a 25 cent war stamp, matinee 2:30 pm for 25 cents with a 10 cent stamp refund, tickets from May 17 at the high school.
