Bethany Reformed Church at 111th Place and Perry Avenue plans a May 14 evening service honoring mothers with sons and daughters in the armed services. Dr. Harry J. Hager will give "A Mother's Prayer for Her Soldier Son" and praise for the oldest and youngest mothers and the largest family. The day includes a 7:30 p.m. service with choir, a 10:00 a.m. sermon on "The Easy Days of Christianity are Over" and a 4:30 p.m. radio address on "The Love of the Spirit" with Lorimer Vesper Trio and Martin Bennema at the organ.
