J. H. Williamson Dies at 59 in Dolton

J. H. Williamson former C. and E. I. yardmaster of Dolton died Tuesday March 27 at his daughter Edna's home on Lafayette Avenue aged 59. He suffered a work accident on the Western Indiana Railroad several months earlier. He leaves a widow seven children and seven grandchildren. Funeral services set for Saturday March 31 at 2 30 p m Interment at Oakland Cemetery Dolton.

Mrs Prill Dies at 77 in Riverdale Home

Mrs Caroline Prill died Friday at 9 10 am at her home 69 East 138th Street Riverdale after six months of illness. Her funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at St Pauls Church.

Fred Kay of Dalton injured at Harvey Buda shops and admitted to Ingalls Memorial hospital. Louis Hudt, injured at Acme Steel six weeks ago, remains in hospital but improving. Berney Jones injured when a plank slipped at Arcady Mills. Dorothy Rampke celebrated a birthday with classmates on March 27 1928. William Rockrohr relocated his real estate office to 330 Lincoln avenue. James Karambelis plans development on former Chicago street site. William Conley, 75, locked in a box car at Chicago Heights station and later recovered at St. James hospital. Riverdale Board Sets Polling, Fumigation Plan For Disease

Boy shoots mother with rifle at Dalton home

Walter Vandyke Jr., 13, accidentally shot his mother in the side with a 22 caliber rifle at their Dalton residence. Mrs. Van Dyke was rushed to Ingalls Memorial hospital in Harvey where doctors removed the bullet and her condition remained serious but hopeful for recovery. Father works in the C. and I car department as a car builder.
