Dolton Village Eyes Public Service Co Power Plan
The Dolton Village Board met to hear Public Service Co officials led by vice-president John J Learned, who outlined a five year life for the pole line and equipment and proposed selling village assets after an engineer review. The board plans a public meeting and citizen committee to evaluate bids and ensure reliable 24 hour power for Dolton and nearby Blue Island, criticizing the current sanitary district for poor service.
