Democratic candidate A C Miller for Supervisor of Calumet Township spoke in Riverdale last Monday. Miller resides in Blue Island and enjoys wide acquaintance in the township, with supporters calling him the man for the place.
Riverdale village trustees met March 14 to discuss a new reservoir, a second water pump and pump-lift installation with Grant Bros. funding. The board also heard a call to extend cement sidewalks village wide, repaint poles and enforce pole notices and handbill bans. The drainage issue on 138th Street was referred to the drainage committee for action.

Suburban lines added 14,000,000 riders, and the company notes fifty two years without a passenger fatality in suburban service.
