The Village Board of Dolton grants a 99 year franchise with a 50 year option to the South Side Suburban Railway Co. to build an interurban line from 63rd Street behind White City through West Roseland and Gano to Chicago Heights with depots in Dolton. The ordinance requires construction within eighteen months, operation within three years, overhead electric trolleys, two stations, daily service with up to 24 cars each way, fare limits of five to fifteen cents, and a $25,000 cash deposit as a build guarantee.
