Death of Mrs Johanna Ziebel on Pine Street
Mrs. Johanna Manke Ziebel died March 3 at her Pine Street home. Born February 6, 1842 in Pommern Germany, she married William Ziebel April 15, 1864. They immigrated to America in 1871 and settled here. Survived by five sons, she was active in the Evangelical St. Paul’s Ladies Aid for 15 years. Funeral conducted by Rev. J. J. Silbermann, Monday at 1 p.m. burial in family lot west of Blue Island cemetery.
