The Dolton Village Board, presided by President Harris, opened bids for water and sewer improvements in the Berger section near Lincoln avenue and Sibley boulevard. O'Brien Brothers Construction Co. offered the lowest bids at 67 982 38 for water and secured the contract, with Pastoret Dorsey Barrett as rivals for sewer work. Engineer Suhr vouched for O'Brien as financially responsible, confirming prior Sanitary District work completion.

L Wayne Emory, former Boys’ Work director, will join Y M C A staff in Anderson, Ind as assistant secretary and director of religious education starting March 20. An appendectomy was performed on Mrs Stanley Prymas of Riverdale at Roseland Community hospital.
