Erbstein Sues Deneen Over Damaged Reputation
A Chicago lawyer, Charley Erbstein, files a libel suit against Governor Charles S. Deneen for 13 dollars claiming Deneen’s remark on his defense in a jury fixing case harmed his reputation. Erbstein argues the filing hides a political motive and cites plans to become Cook County state's attorney.
